Café Napoléon is a Quebec family business known for the quality of its gourmet coffees, as well as for its flexibility and service. Constantly on the lookout for quality green beans from the best producers in the world, we adjust our tasting notes as we receive new green coffee arrivals. Depending on the year and season, slight variations will be noticeable in your cup. We share with you our most authentic impressions and the most accurate information possible.
The Napoleon Index is a scale of 15 to 85 that values each of our coffees according to three specific criteria: The origin of the beans, the graduation and the durability of the coffee and finally the mix of the beans.
A lower rating does not indicate that the coffee tastes less, but that you will taste more fruity, floral, nutty notes; those associated with the terroir.
If you choose a higher index, you will taste the notes associated with roasting and your coffee will be more bitter.
So thanks to it, coffee lovers are always well served!
"If you don't like bitterness, the medium roast Guatemala Rainforest is for you! It has a light acidity, a pleasant mouthfeel and interesting aromas. This coffee is a must have!"
""I have a crush on the funky side of the light Ethiopian Yrgacheffe. I like fruity coffees with a good acidity and a sweet side. I love the light roast of our Ethiopian Yrgacheffe which reveals these citrus and caramel aromas.
